Lead Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture (7-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java-based backend services using modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).

- Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the backend systems.

- Lead, mentor, and guide junior developers.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Drive technical decision-making and best practices within the team.

- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, product managers, and QA engineers.

- Participate in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development.

- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and product quality.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team workflows.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.

- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other relevant Java frameworks.

-Experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Experience with message queues ( Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
