Senior Backend Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate (5-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and performant.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) to store and retrieve data efficiently.

- Develop and implement RESTful APIs to support client applications and services.

- Ensure security best practices are followed during the design and development of applications.

- Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

- Debug and troubleshoot issues in production and development environments.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, retrospectives) and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.

- Continuously improve development processes and identify areas for optimization in the backend infrastructure.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends to ensure the team is leveraging the most efficient and reliable backend solutions.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems.

- Strong proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar.

- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- In-depth knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including designing and optimizing queries.

- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.

- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
