Principal Accountabilities :
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module, including the Order to Cash (OTC) cycle.
- Expertise in configuring and customizing key SAP SD modules and components like Sales Order Management, Billing, Pricing, Shipping, Credit Management, and Availability Check.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of Master Data (Customer, Material, Pricing, etc.) to ensure consistency and accuracy across all SAP SD processes.
- Manage and configure Stock Transfer Orders (STO) and work closely with Inventory Management teams to ensure proper handling of goods movements and inventory control.
- Implement and configure inventory management best practices to ensure smooth and accurate tracking of stock in different stages.
- Expertise in implementing and configuring Revenue Recognition processes in SAP SD.
- Ensure compliance with applicable revenue standards and regulations in line with business requirements.
- Strong experience in handling interfaces with non-SAP systems (i.e., SFDC, CRM, Apttus) and SAP systems using technologies like IDOCs, EDI, and PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration).
- Work on ensuring seamless integration between SAP and third-party systems, enabling smooth business operations and data exchange.
- Provide day-to-day support to end-users, resolving issues related to SAP SD transactions, including order processing, billing, pricing issues, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Order to Cash (OTC) process to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with other SAP functional teams (MM, FICO, WM) and technical teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.
- Participate in workshops, training, and meetings to gather requirements and share updates about project progress.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing SAP SD processes to streamline and automate manual tasks, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
- Provide suggestions for enhancements to SAP functionality based on business needs and best practices.
- Actively participate in project planning, timeline management, and resource allocation for SAP SD implementations or upgrades.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all customizations, configurations, and process changes, ensuring knowledge sharing across the team.
- Conduct thorough testing of SAP SD processes, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure that all developments and configurations are thoroughly tested before going live, ensuring that they meet business requirements and adhere to quality standards.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and business teams to ensure they are well-equipped to use SAP SD processes effectively.
- Provide knowledge transfer to junior consultants or internal teams to maintain internal SAP expertise.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) implementation, configuration, and support.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Order to Cash (OTC) processes, including Sales Orders, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, and Availability Check.
- Expertise in Stock Transfer Orders (STO) and Inventory Management modules.
- Proficient in Master Data Management, with the ability to set up and manage Customer, Material, and Pricing Master Data in SAP.
- Strong interface experience with IDOCs, EDI, and integration with non-SAP systems such as SFDC, CRM, and Apttus.
- Hands-on experience with Revenue Recognition in the SAP SD module.
- Solid understanding of integration points between SAP SD and other modules like MM, FICO, and WM.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with business users, functional teams, and technical teams.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
