Automation Test Architect - Java/Selenium (12-13 yrs)

Job Description

- We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Architect who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks for the entire application stack.

- The candidate must have extensive experience in building automation frameworks from scratch, with proficiency in Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, and various automation tools.

- This individual will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality, automated test coverage for web, API, and mobile applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3 years in an automation test architect or similar leadership role, guiding the automation strategy for large-scale systems.

- 6+ years of experience in Java (preferably a version higher than Java 8) for writing automated test scripts and framework development.

- 8+ years of experience in test automation, including developing frameworks, writing and executing automated tests for functional and regression testing.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience using Selenium WebDriver for automated testing, including Selenium GRID for parallel test execution.

- Expertise in building test automation frameworks from scratch and maintaining them for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

- Expertise in functional automation tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, UFT, Appium, and Selenium WebDriver.

- Experience in designing automated Webservice/API test frameworks using tools like SoapUI and Rest Assured.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and build tools such as Maven.

- Experience with source control management tools like Git and SVN.

- Advanced proficiency in Java for test automation.

- Working knowledge of scripting languages and tools used for automation, such as Python, Groovy, or JavaScript.

- Extensive experience with Tosca Automation and Appium for automating mobile application testing.

- Ability to design and execute automated tests across multiple environments and technologies, including web and mobile platforms.

- Experience in defining and implementing test strategies for large-scale, complex systems.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile development environments.

- Relevant certifications in test automation (e.g, ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer, Certified Selenium Tester) are a plus.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling is a plus
