Moder Solutions - Test Architect - Functional & Automation Testing (10-16 yrs)

Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Test Architect who specializes in both functional and automation testing to lead our testing strategies and implementation. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in Selenium and Java, with additional skills in Appium and UI path highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Framework Development : Lead the design and development of comprehensive testing frameworks to ensure software functionality and performance.

- Continuous Integration (CI) : Implement and refine CI processes using Jenkins to enhance development and testing workflows.

- Production Monitoring : Oversee the monitoring of systems in production to proactively detect and resolve issues.

- Individual Contributor : Operate independently, handling complete lifecycle of testing tasks from planning to deployment.

- Solution Provision : Provide timely technical solutions to complex testing problems and suggest alternatives when necessary.

- Tool Evaluation : Continuously assess and recommend the most effective tools and technologies for testing purposes.

- Communication : Maintain effective communication with diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on project goals.

- Documents, tracks, and escalates issues as appropriate, using Jira and other such tools

- Supports testing and/or application deployment during the off-hours for "validation testing"

- Develops and maintains Regression Test Strategy to ensure frequent production changes are properly tested

- Participates in business and functional requirements and technical design reviews to develop understanding of testing requirements, create test plans, and schedules

- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk.

- Demonstrate consideration for Client's reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the
