Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

Dislikes

Worst company to work in the entire world to work as UI UX Designer. They have no idea of what is UX design. The manager even don't remember your name, or which client you work for. They will ask a UX Designer to code in React. They treat you like a contractual employee. I was hired for Freedom mortgage which is another worst company to work for. The SVP/ Director level people are totally non technical. They even don't know how to handle a project and what's Agile. They are also racist only biased with US employees in the team. If you want to ruin your career as a UX designer then join this company. Anytime they can tell you that your performance is not upto the mark and will fire you.

No work Life balance.... 14-15 hours of working with High targets at very low salary & on top of that they want u to deliver 100% work quality. The team leaders are rude & they will never approve any leaves no matter how urgent situation you are facing.

My Time at Moder was a complete disaster, they didn't pay me my FnF settlement even after 3 months, they accused me of damaging a monitor and made me pay for it by holding my salary. The HR department was rude and never listened to our problems. They never replied to my emails even after lot of follow up's. I can't find any good things about working there as would not allow us to take planned or sick leaves even if we have available leaves left. Please do not join this company if you want to live a peaceful life .

Dislikes

These ppl will make lot of promises but everytime they fail to deliver. They don't have any dedicated HR for technology, No work life balance, No employee engagement, just work work and work and there is no timely hike or promotion. They follow jan to dec cycle and last time appraisal happened in aug month which was supposed to happen in marh April. One more thing does not matter how much you are earning you pf contribution will be only 1800 it's their rule. It is basically a BPO company which is running tech with BPO mindset.
