a system engineer

Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

Worst company to work in the entire world to work as UI UX Designer. They have no idea of what is UX design. The manager even don't remember your name, or which client you work for. They will ask a UX Designer to code in React. They treat you like a contractual employee. I was hired for Freedom mortgage which is another worst company to work for. The SVP/ Director level people are totally non technical. They even don't know how to handle a project and what's Agile. They are also racist only biased with US employees in the team. If you want to ruin your career as a UX designer then join this company. Anytime they can tell you that your performance is not upto the mark and will fire you.

No work Life balance.... 14-15 hours of working with High targets at very low salary & on top of that they want u to deliver 100% work quality. The team leaders are rude & they will never approve any leaves no matter how urgent situation you are facing.

My Time at Moder was a complete disaster, they didn't pay me my FnF settlement even after 3 months, they accused me of damaging a monitor and made me pay for it by holding my salary. The HR department was rude and never listened to our problems. They never replied to my emails even after lot of follow up's. I can't find any good things about working there as would not allow us to take planned or sick leaves even if we have available leaves left. Please do not join this company if you want to live a peaceful life .

Job security, work culture is bad. Directors and managers don't respect supervisors. Lot of flip flops in decision making by the management, which puts lots of pressure on the supervisors
