Network Implementation Engineer - Routing & Switching (4-9 yrs)

Requirements :

- Primary Skill ( Must Have Skills) Network Implementation, Hardware (Router/switches) All Cisco routes.

- Secondary Skills (Good to Have Skills) ITIL, service delivery and management, Networking Skills.

- Certifications (if any) - Hardware (Router/switches) All Cisco routes (2800 3600 7600 etc), Configuration of any of this device from scratch, Configuring routing protocols like BGP, EBGP, BGP, OSPF, etc.

- Hands-on experience in configuring/troubleshooting MPLS.

- Turning up an ISP/WAN circuit with carrier/Internet Service provider.

- Bandwidth management (QOS-Quality of Service) on Routers.

- Experience in migrating a router/switch from one hardware module to a new model.

- Configured or know about 'community list' in a routing protocol.

- Experience in configuring VLAN Redundancy/HSRP.

- Experience in configuring ether-channel/Port channeling.

- Hands-on in software updates for a router or switch.

Responsibilities :

- Experience in IT Infrastructure Operations as a Network Security Engineer or similar role.

- Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco routers and switches to ensure optimal network performance and security.

- Manage Juniper SRX series firewalls, including SRX340, SRX240, and SRX4200, to enforce security policies and protect against cyber threats.

- Conduct firewall audits using Firemon tool to assess and enhance security posture.

- Administer Palo alto and Zscaler VPN for secure vendor access to our network resources.

- Oversee firewall management platforms, including Juniper Space and Palo Alto Panorama, to streamline operations and enhance visibility.

- Manage Palo Alto firewalls across data centers, manufacturing sites, and global offices to safeguard network assets and sensitive data.

- Assist in the implementation and optimization of Fortinet firewalls to strengthen network security posture.

- Integrate Elastic Search into security operations and vulnerability management processes to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

- Design and implement cloud integration solutions to connect on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments, leveraging technologies such as F5, DDI/IPAM (EfficientIP).

- VPN/MFA, and Internet Gateways.

- Management of Juniper Mist Wireless controller and Access points.

- Maintenance of core routing and switching infrastructure, including BGP and OSPF protocols, to ensure efficient data flow

and connectivity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and policy enforcement.

- Provide support for data center infrastructure, including on prem store DF and Equinix facilities to ensure reliability and uptime of critical systems.

- Excellent command over Incident, Problem, Change and Service request management.

- Skilled in network automation and should know Python, Ansible and Terraform.

- Knowledge of network inventory management and asset management.

- Experience on performing Firmware upgradation of vendor devices like Juniper and Cisco.

- Configuration and Management of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), SDWAN & Juniper MIST SSR Platform.-
