Role & responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for HVAC products and services across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
2. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing training and support, scheduled review.
3. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, contractors, and distributors to expand the customer base.
4. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies and ensure competitive positioning.
5. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
6. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, forecasting future sales, and making adjustments to plans as needed to ensure targets are met.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with product offerings and market demands.
8. Budget Management: Oversee the sales department budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and controlling costs.
Preferred candidate profile
a. Education: ME (Mechanical) +MBA preferred
b. Total work experience: 15 + years which includes 4 - 5 years of sales experience in selling products to Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning companies. Experience in selling to companies like Blue Star, Carrier, Daikin, Johnson Controls, LG, General Electric, Mitsubishi Electric, Voltas etc is a plus point. Industrial sales experience required.
c. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing sales teams in a competitive environment.
d. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, products, and market trends.
e. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
f. Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
g. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
h. Willingness to travel as needed.
