Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Assistant Videographer (Post-Production) to support our video production team. The role primarily involves managing the post-production process, including video editing, color grading, sound enhancement, and delivering high-quality final outputs that align with the companys brand and goals.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of video editing software, storytelling techniques, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing:

• Edit raw footage from shoots into polished, high-quality video content for podcasts, reels, promotional campaigns, and other formats.
• Ensure seamless transitions, synchronization of audio and visuals, and pacing that enhances storytelling.

2. Color Grading and Correction:

• Perform professional color grading and correction to ensure videos meet visual standards and maintain brand consistency.

3. Sound Design and Editing:

• Enhance audio quality by removing background noise, synchronizing voiceovers, and adding sound effects or background music.
• Balance audio levels for optimal clarity and engagement.

4. Graphics and Effects:

• Add motion graphics, animations, text overlays, and branding elements using tools like Adobe After Effects or similar software.
• Ensure visual consistency across all video assets.

5. File Management:

• Organize and maintain video files, project backups, and final deliverables in a structured and accessible manner.
• Keep track of ongoing projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring all edits are version-controlled.

6. Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Senior Videographer, marketing team, and content creators to align video outputs with the project vision and goals.
• Incorporate feedback into edits and make necessary revisions promptly.

7. Stay Updated:

• Stay current with the latest trends in video editing, post-production tools, and techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.

Key Skills & Requirements:

1. Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in video editing and post-production.
• Experience working with raw footage from multiple formats, including social media reels, podcasts, and long-form videos.

2. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animations.
• Understanding of color grading, audio editing, and rendering processes.
• Familiarity with video codecs, formats, and export settings optimized for various platforms.

3. Creative Skills:

• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to create engaging video content.
• Attention to detail in editing to ensure professional-level outputs.

4. Soft Skills:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and incorporate feedback.

5. Other Requirements:

• Knowledge of photography/videography basics is a plus.
• Portfolio showcasing previous editing and post-production work is mandatory.
