Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization, performance optimization, and security best practices.

You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to create high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly WordPress websites.

Key Responsibilities :

WordPress Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.

- Ensure WordPress sites are responsive, fast, and secure.

- Customize existing themes and plugins to meet business needs.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services.

- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs efficiently.

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize WordPress websites for speed and performance.

- Implement caching, lazy loading, and database optimizations.

- Minimize code bloat and enhance website efficiency.

Security & Maintenance :

- Apply security best practices to prevent vulnerabilities.

- Regularly update themes, plugins, and core WordPress versions.

- Monitor and fix security threats and performance issues.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers.

- Participate in code reviews and share best practices with the team.

- Provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in WordPress development.

- Strong expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Experience with WordPress REST API and third-party API integration.

- Proficiency in Gutenberg, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and WooCommerce.

- Experience with MySQL database management and optimization.

- Familiarity with Git version control.

- Knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Core Web Vitals.

- Strong understanding of website security and performance optimization.

- Experience with headless WordPress (optional but a plus).

- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js (optional).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields.

- Knowledge of hosting environments such as cPanel, Plesk, and cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.

- Experience with WordPress multisite networks.

- Contribution to open-source projects or WordPress community involvement.

Education :
