Role Overview :
The Business Analyst & Project Coordinator serves as a vital link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership. This hybrid role combines analytical expertise to gather and document business requirements with project coordination skills to ensure successful project execution. The candidate will drive business solutions while ensuring project tasks are completed on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Analysis :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business needs and requirements.
- Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Analyze current business processes, identify areas of improvement, and recommend effective solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to elicit stakeholder input and validate requirements.
- Support the development team during the solution design and development phases.
2. Project Coordination :
- Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Track project progress, monitor deliverables, and report status to stakeholders and leadership.
- Coordinate activities among cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and efficient collaboration.
- Organize and document meetings, prepare status reports, and maintain project documentation.
- Identify project risks and issues, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.
3. Communication and Stakeholder Management :
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, business users, and technical teams.
- Ensure stakeholders are informed about project progress, key milestones, and changes.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
4. Project Support :
- Support deployment by ensuring solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Provide post-implementation support and assist in issue resolution.
Required Skills and Competencies :
- Excellent project coordination and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Asana, JIRA, Trello).
- Familiarity with business analysis tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
