Project Manager - Agile/Waterfall (2-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.

- Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address any potential roadblocks.

- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget effectively, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon parameters.

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on project status and progress to stakeholders.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact.

- Gather and document client requirements, conducting thorough needs assessments and workshops.

- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and internal stakeholders.

- Proactively identify and address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and consultants.

- Coordinate with internal resources and external vendors to ensure timely project execution.

- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.

- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

- Contribute to the development and refinement of project management methodologies within the organization.

Qualifications :

Experience : 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology-related field.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.)

- Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies (containers, microservices, serverless).

- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve challenges effectively.

- Basic understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and DevOps principles.

Preferred Qualifications :

- PMP certification

- Experience working in Agile environments

- Contributions to the tech community (e. blogging, open-source contributions)
