Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- New Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company's cybersecurity services.
- Proactively prospect, generate, and qualify leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Key Account Management: Build and manage relationships with key customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling cybersecurity solutions.
- Market Expansion: Drive business development efforts for PAN India, understanding the unique needs of different regions and tailoring solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Customer Acquisition: Target and acquire new clients across verticals including government, BFSI, healthcare, and enterprise organizations with an emphasis on C-level relationships.
Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:
- Sales Targets and Forecasting: Establish and manage sales targets at the departmental, team, and individual levels for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance.
- Monitor and report on progress regularly.
- Revenue Generation: Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, drive growth, and improve revenue and profitability.
- Product Mix and Solution Development: Work closely with product teams to develop and refine service offerings, ensuring the right solutions are delivered to meet client needs while optimizing revenue.
- Sales Improvement: Analyze sales data, trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in sales strategies and performance.
- Seasonal Sales Planning: Work with the leadership team to prepare for seasonal fluctuations in demand and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Sales Team Leadership: Manage, lead, and mentor a team of 3-4 cybersecurity sales managers.
- Ensure the team is well-equipped with the tools, training, and resources needed to succeed.
- Performance Management: Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics for the sales team and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure high levels of performance and accountability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales strategies with the overall business objectives and customer needs.
Customer and Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Building Key Relationships: Establish and foster strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations, including CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and Cybersecurity Managers.
- Client Retention and Satisfaction: Focus on ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions and services.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their evolving cybersecurity needs are addressed.
- Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with third-party vendors, consultants, and industry experts to expand service offerings and increase market reach.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Sales Reporting: Provide detailed reports on sales activities, key account developments, and pipeline health.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments.
- Competitor and Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
- Be proactive in identifying emerging cybersecurity needs and adjusting sales tactics accordingly.
