General duty Assistant

Position Title: General Duty Attendant (GDA) / Patient Care Assistant (PCA)

Location: Bhuj

Role Summary:

Managing patient care services

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Staff nurses in shifting patient to investigation rooms for medical investigations
• Processing of patients admission and discharge file from ward to billing
• Assist patient for toilet activities
• Collect and send repaired inventories to and fro from ward
• Assist Staff nurse in maintaining ward inventories
• Assist Staff Nurse in patient bathing activities
• Assist patient to change uniforms as and when required
• Collecting washed linen from laundary to the ward
• Daily washing and upkeep of patient stool and urine pot
• Bed making and dusting of all furniture and fixtures in room
• Taking the requisition for all the diagnostic test and procedures to the respective department
• All other activities as instructed by ward nurses
• Assist Staff Nurses and Doctors while providing any treatment for patients as and when necessary
• Provide drinking water to patient
• Providing tea/coffee to patient relatives in case of instructions from ward in charge

Qualifications: Minimum Matriculation from a recognized University / GDA Certified from a recognized Institute
