What will you be doing?

  • As an IT SDM, AWS, you will be responsible Commercial, is responsible for the service strategy, technology roadmap and lifecycle, service development, and service delivery performance of Smith & Nephews Commercial services.
  • Service Management: Responsible for delivering IT services throughout the service lifecycle within agreed service levels. Identify service vendors, establish services, and handle vendor performance.
  • Lead and provide visibility on the maintenance of End User Technology platform availability, reliability, maintainability, outage serviceability & continuity requirements against the cost-justified service and operating/service level agreements for the service.
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of suppliers operations teams to lead and maintain BAU service, program portfolio, and the provision of the Collaboration platform.
  • Looking for general health of the live service required to meet business requirements. Supervise implementation of, and consistency to, security standards (security strategy set by Security Architecture).
  • Ensure ongoing architectural integrity of the service throughout its lifecycle. Ensure that all IT Service Management processes, SLA, and Underpinning Contracts are appropriate for the agreed service level targets.
  • Delivery Management: Plan, Lead and deliver project and enhancement delivery in an agile manner. Evaluating existing technologies and services and identifying improvements.
  • Take care of delivery execution of Commercial projects and assignments to achieve scope, schedule, financial & quality commitments through operating a metrics-based management system, ensuring alignment to principles and standards in the solution lifecycle management process. Ensure the project success metrics are met.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology / Computer Science/ Computer Engineering.
  • Certification/Licenses: PM certification (i.e. PMP, PMI-ACP) highly desirable.
  • Operating Mode: Hybrid: Work from office: 2 days in a week.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+years of Experience in Service and Delivery management experience in global and complex environments. Has worked in a regulated business.
  • Experience in Understanding of Commercial services, Digital Workplace. Looking to topics End2End, prioritizing collaboration and able to align towards common goals.
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a global multi-cultural environment and drive harmonization and standardization. Analyses, designs, plans, implements and evaluates work to time, cost, and quality targets. Analysis needs and advises on scope and options for continuous operational improvement.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Modern Digital Workplace concept and technologies, Zero Trust concept and Intune/Endpoint Configuration Manager technologies.
  • Proficient in building collaborative teams, maintain calm and focus under pressure and instil that ability in others, and be effective communicators.
