Software Development Engineer - Test - API Testing (4-6 yrs)

Job Description.

Job Title : SDET Engineer.

Location : Bangalore.

Experience : 4-6 Years.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Java, Selenium, and API testing tools.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.

- Execute automated tests and analyze results, reporting any defects or issues found.

- Conduct API testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for test automation.

- Continuously improve the automation framework to enhance efficiency and coverage.

- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure test requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.

- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on automation best practices.

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong Java programming skills.

- Expertise in Selenium for web application testing and experience with API automation tools.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g, TestNG, JUnit) and continuous integration tools (e.g, Jenkins).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
