Roles and Responsibilities :

- Application Development : Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using best practices and design patterns.

- Framework Expertise : Work with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate to build enterprise-grade solutions.

- Integration : Develop and maintain APIs (REST/SOAP) to enable seamless interaction between software modules and third-party systems.

- Performance Optimization : Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize system performance.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and QA engineers, to gather requirements and ensure smooth development cycles.

- Code Quality : Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and industry best practices.

- Database Management : Develop and optimize database queries and work with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.

- Testing and Debugging : Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software meets technical specifications and performance requirements.

Critical Skills and Requirements :

- Core Skills : Strong expertise in Java, Java EE, and object-oriented programming principles.

- Frameworks : Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other related frameworks.

- API Development : Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Database : Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Tools : Familiarity with development tools such as Maven, Gradle, Git, and Jenkins for build automation and version control.

- Problem-Solving : Ability to analyze complex systems and solve challenging technical issues.

- Agile Development : Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Cloud Platforms (Preferred) : Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of search platforms such as Lucidworks Fusion or similar tools.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular or React is a plus.

- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
