Job Description
Required: Application Packages, Advanced People Code, Compon
Key Responsibilities of a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant/Developer:
- Application Development & Customization :
- PeopleCode : Write custom code using PeopleCode , the primary programming language in PeopleSoft, to implement business logic or to extend application functionality.
- Application Engine : Develop batch programs using Application Engine , which is used for processing data in the background.
- Component Interface : Create and manage Component Interfaces (CIs) , which allow for data integration with external systems.
- PeopleTools : Use PeopleTools (the development framework) to develop custom pages, components, and workflows. PeopleTools includes technologies such as Application Designer , Data Mover , and Query Manager .
- System Integration :
- Integrate PeopleSoft with other applications or systems using technologies such as Integration Broker , Web Services , and File-based data import/export .
- Develop and maintain interfaces with third-party systems like HRIS systems, financial systems, and external databases.
