Position: Taxation & Audit Manager.

Location: Mumbai {Santa Cruz(E)}.

Brief:

The Manager - Taxation & Audit will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of direct and indirect taxation for the organization.

Job Role:

- Tax Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect tax returns, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other applicable taxes.

- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.

- Prepare and review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations for financial statements.

- Tax Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies in line with the company's financial goals.

- Identify opportunities for tax optimization and savings.

- Advise management on the tax implications of business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures.

Audit & Assessment:

- Manage Statutory Audits, tax audits, and assessments, liaising with tax authorities as necessary.

- Prepare and present documentation required during Statutory audits, tax audits, and assessments.

- Handle tax litigation and appeals in coordination with external consultants and legal teams.

Process Improvement:

- Implement and maintain tax-related internal controls and processes.

- Assess and improve the company's tax reporting and compliance systems.

- Provide training and support to the finance team on tax-related matters.

Qualification and Experience: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

Skills:

- Extensive experience in handling both direct and indirect taxes, including GST, Income Tax, and TDS.

- This role involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax efficiency, managing tax risks, and contributing to the company's financial strategy.

Working Days and Timings:

- Monday to Saturday.

- 02nd and 04th Saturday is off.

- 10:00 AM to 06:30 PM.
