Role & responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing financial reports, invoices, and statements for Australian clients.
• Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Support the senior accountant with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with Australian financial policies and regulations.
• Assist in tax documentation preparation and support during audits.
• Update financial data in databases to maintain accuracy.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply).
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or MYOB).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with Australian accounting standards is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
