Job Title: Procurement Executive - Fresher

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in the IT service industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in order procurement, vendor management, and negotiation skills. This role is crucial to ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support our business operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Management:
• Maintain strong relationships with OEM / Distributors, Negotiating favourable terms and conditions.
• Understanding of OEM / Distributors supply chain procedures to get the product / service delivered at earliest.
2. Order Processing:
• Collaborate with various departments to understand and fasten the order process.
• Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep track of all goods and services ordered and received, and maintain accurate inventory records including details on price, performance, and delivery.
• Interact with suppliers daily to develop and nurture mutually beneficial relationships
• Maintain up to date and precise records of orders, shipments, inventory, and reports
3. Negotiation:
• Negotiate with OEM / Distributors to achieve the targeted prices & terms
• Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
4. Quality Assurance:
• Work closely with OEM / Distributors to ensure that goods and services meet as per order.
• Address and resolve any procurement related issues or discrepancies with OEM / Distributors as well as internal team.
5. Cost Analysis:
• Analyze the prices, create cost-benefit analysis, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to make informed procurement decisions.
6. Communication:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Material management, Sales & Service co-ordinators, Sales Managers, Finance, Technical and management, to understand their procurement needs and provide timely updates.
• Communicate effectively with OEM / Distributors to address inquiries, resolve issues, and build strong partnerships.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in any degree, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. 0-1years of experience in procurement, preferably in the IT service industry.
3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favourable terms with OEM / Distributors.
4. Analytical mind-set with the ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
7. Proactive, highly motivated and flexible
