Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading.

- Define data migration scope, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Create detailed data migration plans, including data mapping, data quality rules, and cutover strategies.

- Conduct thorough data analysis and profiling to understand data structures, quality issues, and potential risks.

- Identify data inconsistencies, redundancies, and inaccuracies.

- Develop data cleansing and remediation strategies.

- Design and implement data transformation rules and scripts using appropriate tools (e.g., BODS, SQL).

- Perform data cleansing and standardization to ensure data quality and consistency.

- Develop and execute data validation procedures to ensure data accuracy.

- Utilize SAP LT Migration Cockpit and BODS (Business Objects Data Services) to execute data migration activities.

- Configure and customize migration objects and data mapping.

- Monitor data migration progress and troubleshoot issues.

- Manage data loads and reconciliations.

- Design and optimize data flow to ensure efficient data migration performance, especially when dealing with high volumes of data.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Implement best practices for data migration performance tuning.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to data migration processes, tools, and configurations.

- Share knowledge and best practices with other team members.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-14 years of experience in SAP Data Migration.

- Extensive experience with SAP LT Migration Cockpit.

- Strong proficiency in BODS (Business Objects Data Services) for data migration.

- Deep understanding of data analysis, data quality management, and data conversion planning.

- Experience in working with large volumes of data and optimizing data flow for performance.

- Ability to understand SAP functionality and work effectively with functional teams.

- Strong SQL skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations involving data migration.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

- Experience with other SAP data migration tools (e.g., LSMW).

- Knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD).

- Experience with data governance and data quality tools.

- Certification in SAP Data Migration.
