Job Summary :

The Data Migration will execute data migration activities with Business SMEs, legacy team and SAP team.

To perform data migration from legacy systems to S/4 HANA including Per-load validations, transformation, post-load validations, and technical loading.

To manage data migration template, tools, and strategy progressively based on each lesson-learnt from project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Working with SAP functional and technical BSA analyzing data migration requirements and the enrichment of legacy data.

- Designing appropriate data migration solutions including, where required, transformation routines.

- Building, testing, executing and managing data migrations utilizing tools such as SAP LSMW or SAP Data Services solutions.

- Preload and post load validation of migration results, handle dropouts and advise on data cleansing requirements.

- Perform migration mock-runs, migration cutover tasks and post go-live support.

- Providing advisory services to the business to understand their data management issues and advising on appropriate data management strategies and techniques.

- Extensive experience of data management and migration activities in a SAP environment.

- Strong experience in the design and implementation of SAP's ETL solutions such as SAP LTMC and SAP LSMW, and additionally ABAP upload programs using BAPI/BDCs.

- Implement Data Migration framework as per data migration architecture using SAP tools and Microsoft SQL server.

- Support Data Cleansing activities as required, using tools like Excel, Data Services and SQL scripts.

- A wide experience across a range of SAP ERP functional areas such as Finance, Logistics and Production Planning.

- Experience in data analysis and reconciliation and able to prove correctness and completeness of migration tasks.

- Experience with cutover planning and preparation of data migration runbooks.

- Good communication and able to follow adapt project time zone globally.

- Experience with implementing ECC6 or S4/HANA multi-tiered SAP environment.

- Moderate travel to project site on key periods / activities for Data Migration.

- Willingness to work hours as necessary, especially during critical issue resolution time period.

- Meticulous attention to detail, organization skills and strong sense of ownership.
