Role Description :

- This is a full-time hybrid role for a SAP Data Migration team lead at ComTek Solutions.

- This is an immediate requirement for an European Customer with 2 interviews.

- The role will involve leading SAP data migration projects, ensuring smooth conversions and migrations to SAP S/4 HANA, systems.

- Some work from home is acceptable, but the role is primarily based in Hyderabad from office.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong understanding of SAP data migration tools and methodologies (SAP Data Services, LSMW, Migration Cockpit, BAPI).

- Experience with data cleansing, data quality techniques, and data profiling.

- Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the migration project (e., Finance, Sales, Logistics).

- Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and data mapping.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Project management skills to manage data migration timelines and deliverables.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- The Data Migration Lead for the STEP transformation program plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless transfer of data from legacy systems to the new SAP environment.

- This role demands a deep understanding of data migration processes, methodologies, and technologies, as well as strong project management skills to oversee the entire data migration lifecycle.

- The Data Migration Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration process.

Key responsibilities / accountabilities :

- Data Migration Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy, including plans for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Project Management : Lead and manage data migration projects, including planning, resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, and issue resolution.

- Data Mapping and Transformation : Define data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate and efficient data migration from source to target systems.

- Technology Utilization : Leverage various data migration tools and technologies such as SAP Data Services, Informatica, and SQL to facilitate the migration process.

- Data Quality Assurance : Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.

- Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with IT, business units, and external vendors to coordinate data migration activities, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.

- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes, methodologies, and outcomes.

- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and challenges associated with data migration and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

- Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users and team members on data migration tools and best practices.
