Role : SAP BASIS with Cloud Applications.

Experience : 2-4 yrs.

Job Type : Perm/Contract.

Location : Bangalores/Hybrid.

Responsibilities :

- Perform day-to-day SAP BASIS activities, including system monitoring, performance tuning, user management, transport management, and system refreshes.

- Manage and support SAP cloud solutions, specifically S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, including system provisioning, upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.

- Work with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to manage SAP landscapes, including virtual machine management, storage management, and network configuration.

- Utilize SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring, incident management, change management, and performance analysis.

- Perform HANA database administration tasks, including performance monitoring, backup and recovery, and user management.

- Identify and resolve SAP system issues, including performance bottlenecks, application errors, and connectivity problems.

- Work closely with other IT teams, including application developers, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless integration and support of SAP systems.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of SAP system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in SAP BASIS operations.

- Implement and maintain SAP security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with security policies.

- Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects, providing technical expertise and support.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in SAP application operations, SAP BASIS, or SAP technical support.

- Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition or other SAP cloud solutions.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP HANA database administration.

- Experience with cloud infrastructure operations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Solid understanding of SAP architecture and components.

- Proficiency in SAP Basis administration tasks, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and transport management.

- Experience with SAP system upgrades, patching, and migrations.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

- SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (HANA and Linux)).

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, shell scripting).

- Knowledge of ITIL framework.

- Experience with automation tools.
