Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute load and performance test strategies for cloud applications and IoT devices.

- Analyze performance under various loads and identify bottlenecks and scalability issues.

- Conduct performance testing on cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase, ensuring efficient resource utilization.

- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA to define performance benchmarks and SLAs.

- Create and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

- Monitor system performance metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, latency, etc.) and identify performance degradation.

- Generate detailed reports with actionable insights for system improvements.

- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

- Ensure seamless integration and scalability of device communication with cloud backends.

- Stay updated on performance testing trends, tools, and cloud optimization best practices.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in load and performance testing for cloud applications and IoT devices, especially with GCP and Firebase.

- Proficiency with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) and cloud platforms like GCP and Firebase.

- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Cloud Monitoring).

- Understanding of cloud architectures, serverless functions, microservices, and containerization.

- Scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) for test automation.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated performance testing.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with IoT device performance testing and cloud integration.

- Familiarity with Firebase services (Firestore, Realtime Database, Firebase Functions).

- Certifications in relevant tools or cloud platforms (e.g., GCP Associate Engineer).
