QA QC Engineer / Experienced & Freshers

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review and approve RA bills, checklists, and other documentation related to quality control.
  
• Prepare daily reports on-site inspections, measurements, and observations.
  
• Supervise junior engineers and technicians in their duties at the site.
  
• Ensure timely submission of technical documents such as test results, inspection records, etc.
  
• Conduct site quality control activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-6 years of experience in QA/QC engineering or a related field (freshers may also apply).
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in preparing accurate reports using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experienced in inspecting field weld joints of steel pipelines during fit-up and intermediate passes, as well as conducting visual inspection after welding completion.
• Responsible for maintaining all project-related and quality documentation.
• Skilled in interpreting radiographs for weld quality and integrity assessments.
• Experienced in preparing Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) for welder qualification tests and procedures.
• Knowledgeable in conducting destructive testing as per client specifications.
• Experienced in preparing inspection reports for CGD Steel and MDPE pipelines.
• Proficient in conducting electrode qualification tests and preparing related reports.
• Skilled in performing pre-hydro testing for HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) works.
• Knowledgeable in steel valve testing procedures and protocols.
• Experienced in vacuum drying of steel pipelines.
• Proficient in nitrogen purging of steel pipelines.
• Knowledgeable in above-ground piping installation and inspection.
• Experienced in the commissioning process of steel pipelines.
• Experienced in PE (Polyethylene) pipeline laying and installation.
• Skilled in conducting pneumatic testing for PE pipelines.
• Experienced in commissioning PE pipelines.
