IT Degree Professional/technical skills
15+ years of experience in infrastructure Operations and Platform Engineering.
Expert knowledge in the infrastructure platforms and associated technologies Good understanding of the business for where the infrastructure platforms are been deployed
Experience in dealing with vendors on technology and services Good knowledge of IT governance and operations Understanding of financial modelling and budget planning processes related to platform hardware, software and services
Understanding of project and program management planning and methodologies Experience in managing technical teams Experience in building Infrastructure Business cases which may or may not have positive cash return
Experience in creating Statements of Work and other contractual documents for delivery of Infrastructure Technologies and associated services
Behavioural (e.g. negotiation skills, presentation skills)
Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
Problem solving skills. Ability to analyse complex problems and determine solutions.
Demonstrable experience in presenting to business customers and other IT domains
Strong influencing skills
Innovative thinking capability, with a passion for thinking out of the box and introduction of new technologies
