Practice Lead- Container Platform and Hybrid Cloud
We are looking for a Lead Architect Container Platform Consultant with experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, TCO propositions for Virtualization, Private Cloud, and Hyperconverged Cloud levering OpenShift, Dockers, Kubernetes Stack. Candidate will be required to consult, design and architect solutions leveraging full stack of Container technologies on On-Prem, AWS or Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the customer engagement from requirement analysis to defining the right fit Container Platform strategy, platform recommendations, Automaton stack, as well as allied technology choices for network, security, etc.
Experience of architecting solutions using Container Full Stack Platforms leveraging Open Shift/ O origin, Dockers, Kubernetes.
Have delivered multiple large deployments for enterprise customers across the complete project lifecycle including Design, Plan, Deployment Health Check / System Audit.
Skills and Certifications on Container Technologies (OpenShift Certified, OpenStack Certified, RHCE, RHCA, Kubernetes and or Dockers certified)
Delivery expertise of container solutions is desirable, such as delivery expertise in following domains;
o Storage as a Service using Gluster
o Orchestration using Ansible such that worker node scaling is done on Open Stack/Vmware automatically
o Application Stack deployment using Ansible and Terraform on Open Stack and Open Shift
Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise application and database architecture and containerization approach for green field or brown field deployment.
Experience in Automation by Scripting programs leveraging Ansible, Shell, YAML, or Salt Stack is added advantage
Experience in architecting and designing Container migration approaches, Cloud migration, application migration. Knowledge of tools, methodologies and processes for migrations.
Strong presentation and written communication skills with the ability to present the Value proposition, Solution depiction and articulation
Ability to analyze, depict and devise propositions on different scenarios On premise - Off premise, TCO / ROI calculations etc.
Basic Qualifications
12+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Presales, Development, and Successful execution
6+ years of experience in Container Technologies such as OpenShift, Dockers, Kubernetes, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Certification in Container technologies such as OpenShift Certified, OpenStack Certified, RHCE, RHCA, Kubernetes and or Dockers certified etc. Certifications in other virtualization technology is also desirable, but not must, such as Vmware Certified, RedHat Certified Architect (RCHA)
Preferred Qualifications
Engineering / IT Graduate Background with MBA (preferred) .
