Technical Lead IT-Cloud Architect

OVERALL OBJECTIVES: You will join an international crew to work on the design, improvement, and optimization of recently deployed IT infrastructure such as Local Network, SDWAN, Firewall, Cloud infrastructure (Azure). Your role will be to take in charge requests or project for Architecture Infrastructure evolution (network, systems, cloud, migration, etc. ), with a specialty Cloud Segregation activity. A technical background in Azure and Multi Cloud is expected, good communication skills is also required to allow collaboration and coordination with partners, Internal or external SME, Vendors, etc. in order to achieve your projects.

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS :

• Proven experience as a cloud architect or senior cloud engineer focusing on Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including computing, storage, networking, databases, security, and identity.
• Strong understanding of cloud design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices.
• Technology related: +5 years in similar job position.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, and DevOps tools (e. g. , Jenkins, Ansible, Git).
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like PowerShell, Python, Familiarity with containerization technologies (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, ) and microservices architecture.
• Design and develop end-to-end cloud architecture to support business goals and technical requirements.
• Hands on experience in micro segmentation of Azure andAWS
• Experience working with multiple projects at the same time and sticking to delivery deadlines.
• Perform product evaluation and propose cost effective solution that will help reduce overall ops cost
• Define and implement cloud strategy, roadmaps, and migration plans.
• Ensure the architecture aligns with industry best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Create scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Deliver solution by Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate provisioning and deployments.
• Design solutions for high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and fault tolerance.
• Implement and manage cloud security policies and practices to ensure data protection, access control, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Automate operational workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve response times.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to enable smooth cloud-native development.
• Monitor and optimize cloud usage to reduce costs while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Identify areas of inefficiency and recommend architectural changes or service adjustments.
• Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure smooth and secure cloud operations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Document and communicate cloud architecture designs, decisions, and processes to stakeholders and technical teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

An ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10+ years of experience in most of the following areas:

• Proficiency in Azure services: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, and Azure API Management.
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Identity & Access Management.
• Expertise in Azure Networking: Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Front Door, and Azure Traffic Manager.
• Proficiency in Azure Storage Solutions: Blob Storage, Disk Storage, File Storage, and Data Lake.
• Experience with Azure databases: Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Managed Instances.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
• Skills in monitoring and management using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Security Centre.
• Knowledge of Azure Cost Management and billing best practices.
• Skills in implementing scaling strategies to reduce costs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for IaC.
• Skills to analyse workloads and resize compute instances (e. g. , scaling Azure Virtual Machines or App Services).
• Understanding the use of reserved instances, spot instances, and savings plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for cross-team engagement and stakeholder across different business tower
• Ability to present cost-saving strategies and ROI to stakeholders.
• Translate technical optimizations into business value.
• Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.

Any of below skills would provide a significant advantage:

• Proficiency in tools like Azure Arc, AWS Outposts, and GCP Anthos for hybrid cloud.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and hybrid cloud technologies like Azure Stack.
• Familiarity with on-prem server management and virtualization.
• Must Have Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional,
• Knowledge of storage solutions (SAN, NAS, Blob Storage)
• Knowledge of load balancing techniques.
• Previous experience in complex on prem to cloud migrations.
• Expertise in Cloud Networking, (Azure / AWS)
• Experience in ticketing tool - ServiceNow
