SUMMARY OF ROLE :

This role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization's global network infrastructure. This role ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of the network to support business operations and growth. The Global IT Network Manager will lead a team of network engineers and work closely with other IT departments to deliver high-quality network services.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design, implement, and manage the global network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, ZTNA, AWS Cloud networking, SDWAN and wireless networks.

- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and policies.

- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

- Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure seamless integration of network services with other IT systems.

- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality network services.

- Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends to ensure the organization's network infrastructure remains current and competitive.

- Plan and manage network projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

- Responds and contributes to business continuity and disaster recovery circumstances relating to planned and unplanned events.

- Must be willing to participate in on-call support in the nights & weekends as part of the network engineering team supporting Global Infrastructure.

- Always complies the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations.

- Familiar with L2 & L3 operation support on global scale
