Role - Consulting Engagement Manager, Capital Markets

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Drive key engagements with Capital Markets clients, as a Consulting Engagement Manager and a Domain Specialist to assist growth in new sales and existing projects

- Should exhibit and leverage deep experience / understanding in various aspects of capital markets during the client discussions and be able to convince the client on our ability.

- Strong need to understand the client environment either through past knowledge experiences or by engaging the client in productive conversations

- Independently preparing collaterals from scratch to assist a sales / account management process

- Possess and exhibit deep consultant mindset that helps clients visualize their success

Ideal Work Experience and Background:

- Functional Skills/knowledge and prior work experience on One or more of Capital Markets areas (any of the below)

- Understanding of several asset classes, their functioning, settlement, post-trade processing, corporation actions, etc.

- Understanding and prior experiences in 2 or 3 areas such as trading tech, front office tech, corporate actions tech, post trade processing tech, etc.

- Experience / knowledge in Cap Markets: fixed income, equity, derivatives, trading lifecycle

- Middle and back office - knowledge/ experience in payments, confirmation, reconciliation, settlement and clearing

- Front office - knowledge/experience in pricing, trade capture, risk parameters and PNL

- Exposure to Regulatory and Compliance requirements - i.e. implementation of MIFID, DTCC, BASEL, DFA, EMIR standard reporting, FRTB, IMA and SA, Concept of Capital Optimisation

- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation and gap analysis in OOTB (out of the box) vs custom features

- Working knowledge of Agile (Scrum or Kanban) Methodology

- Exposure in conducting or participating in product demonstration, training, and assessment studies.

- Analytical thinking in finding out of the box solutions with an ability to provide customization approach and - configuration mapping

- Excellent client-facing skills

- Should be able to review the test cases and guide the testing team on need basis

- End to end product implementation and transformation experience is desirable

Preferred Skill Sets (Must Have) :

- Treasury and Liquidity Management - Knowledge of ALM, Position Keeping, Risk Reporting

- Collateral Management - Knowledge of repos, clearing and settlement of OTCs

- Worked on consulting and solutions delivery such as impact assessments, defining the target operating model, and integrated risk and finance reporting framework. Areas such as Basel, CCAR, FRTB.

- Preferred to have Certifications such as FRM, CFA, PRM, CA

- Possesses at least 2 skills from following technical categories:

- Database skills - Able to write SQL queries of moderate complexity,

- Programming/ Scripting skills: One of {Python, Java, C#} - able to write methods calling APIs

- Data Visualization skills - Dashboard analysis with Tableau, Power BI, etc.

Technical Competency (Nice to have):

- Application and Solution (workflow, interface) technical designing

- Business requirements, definition, analysis, and mapping

- Understanding of technology landscape and providing system configuration design

- Market, Static and Reference data, Knowledge of databases, infrastructure, application servers, Technical Architecture, Security and Performance management

- Expertise in writing integration specifications and knowledge of Soap or Rest APIs

- Experience in Cloud and CI/CD (Devops Automation environment)

- Having implementation experience in any CM Trading platform (COTS or custom) will be an added advantage
