Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans tailored to the North region to meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Align regional sales strategies with the overall business objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to stay ahead of trends and identify new business opportunities.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of sales executives, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and equipped to meet targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear individual and team performance goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them grow professionally and improve sales skills.
- Ensure effective training and development programs for sales staff to ensure high performance.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners to ensure long-term business growth.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Regularly visit top clients to ensure that sales targets are being met and that the brand presence is strong.
Sales Operations and Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the region, using sales data and market insights to adjust strategies as needed.
- Track and report on sales KPIs and metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee inventory levels and stock availability, coordinating with the supply chain team to ensure seamless operations.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budget for the region, ensuring cost-effectiveness in operations and marketing activities.
- Optimize the allocation of resources for maximum return on investment in promotional activities and sales efforts.
Market Expansion and Brand Awareness:
- Identify and exploit opportunities for business expansion in untapped markets within the region.
- Lead efforts to increase brand visibility and recognition through local marketing and sales campaigns.
- Participate in regional events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase company's products and connect with potential clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within the apparel or fashion industry.
