Name of Position : Manager Quality

1.Job Objective :-
To oversee and ensure the quality of the manufacturing process by conducting regular inspections, reviewing audits, investigating customer complaints, assessing quality management data, and implementing Poka-Yoke techniques to prevent errors, deviations, and improve overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-
• Investigate customer complaints related to material containment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Drive actions against the potential customer complaints through standard processes like Why-Why analysis, correction & corrective actions
• Review inspections at the start of the manufacturing process and during pre-dispatch to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor Process Audits to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and work instructions for the in-process and pre-dispatch phase of manufacturing.
' Identify potential error-prone areas in the manufacturing process and implement Poka-Yoke techniques to prevent mistakes
. Work for continual upgradation of knowledge / skill levels of subordinates through focused training with effectiveness monitoring mechanisms.

• Driving the SPC activities throughout the plant & implementing effective SPC methods

• Team building to ensure defect free supply to Customer with pro-active approach • Strengthening the QA team by providing the timely information & monitoring the effectiveness
• Monitor Monthly MIS (Management Information System) data to provide insights into in-process and pre-dispatch operations and performance.

3.Qualification & Experience Required :-
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. Candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Quality
functions with the background of High pressure die casting and precision machining. Knowledge in painting / powder
coating process is an added advantage. Candidates working on Quality Systems with reputed MNCs or automobile
industries and TPM-QM Pillar are given first preference. Knowlege of all core tools and Quality Management System.
