Name of Position : Sr. Executive Import & In-direct Procurement

1.Job Objective :-
Import & Indirect Procurement - Planning and Management
Handling of import procurement from planning to execution for Bought-out components, Consumables, Capital Goods &
Spares including logistics management & commercials. Also handling Domestic In-direct Procurement including
Consumables, Capital Goods & Spares

2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-
• Sourcing of Import suppliers for Screws, consumables, capital goods.
• Localization of Imported parts
• Manage procurement Planning for Bought outs ,screws and consumables for imported parts
• Manage procurement of Capital Goods & Spares as per requirement
• Logistic Management & Co-ordination with various shipping companies, Freight forwarders
• Manage co-ordination with Commercial, Logistics & Finance team
• Manage Development of new parts / new suppliers
• Handling & leading execution of various projects for cost, quality & delivery improvement
• Resolve supplier and supplies related issues if any
• Analyse and understand the requirements received from various departments and procure indirect materials like
Consumables ,toolings, mechanical spares, bearings, belts, oil seals O rings etc.
• Obtain quotation, finalize technical and commercial scope, negotiate with the suppliers and release Purchase Orders
• Monitoring ROP and ROQ levels

3.Qualification & Experience Required :-
• A bachelor’s degree in any faculty of Engineering • PG Diploma in International Trade - preferred
• Candidate should have minimum 4-6 years of Hands-on experience in procurement of Indirect materials , overseas
procurement, import management, international trade, EXIM, Supplier development, project management
• Candidate should be conversant with –5s, Kaizen.
• Conversant with ISO, OHSAS standards.
• Experience of working in EOU Company preferred
