As our Quality Manager RCI Lead you will improve and engage with our operational areas, and work with Quality peers, operational teams, and other support functions, to assure the highest product Quality standards observing operational and customer specific requirements
You will report to the Director Manufacturing Operations Asia and will be responsible for responsible for process improvements, Factory Acceptance Testing, machine reliability, waste control, and quality of the finished product
On a given day, you may: Specify/plan activities and giving explanations on technical issues whilst you partner with manufacturing to implement process improvements and address quality events Work with engineering and production to ensure that equipment reliability and repeatability is maintained at the optimum level
Work with component and machine suppliers to eradicate process problems identified by production and maintenance
Organise, implement, and improve production process flows whilst you guide a continuous improvement culture and Lean manufacturing techniques / principles throughout the business
Lead projects when needed and lead continuous improvements, new product development, installation and commissioning of new machinery, and different new products or machine related projects
As our Quality Manager you will communicate direct with the team, leaders and business leadership where you provide quality metrics
You will also present internal teams our metrics, project status and research
Assure inspection readiness and conduct root cause investigation and implement corrective/preventative action
Support engineering with design, re-design and development of process equipment International exposure and a global network, working in foreign markets is helpful
We would like you to have a Bachelors degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
Advanced degree is a plus
Experience in quality management for 10-15 years within the manufacturing industry, preferably in food processing equipment
Continuous improvement/ lean based role Strong knowledge of quality management standards and regulatory requirements
Excellent planning, analytical and problem-solving skills and an understanding of Microsoft packages such as Excel, word Travel Location Your role is onsite and travel will be approximately 10-20% of the time, visiting customer sites and suppliers
