Manager - Business Development

Role & responsibilities:

Purpose:

- To manage, support and supervise the business development of Data Center Colocation Services.

- The job holder is responsible for Order Booking, Technical Evangelism, Solution selling and Business Development for Data Centre Colocation Services.

- Candidate needs to be a technical evangelist, solution selling skills, team player with a strong customer obsession towards Data Center Colocation services.

Main Priorities:

- Responsible for positioning, value selling and influencing customers for Colocation services.

- Identify and generate new business opportunities.

- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

- Provide strategic support to the sales team.

- Assist in creating sales pitches and presentations.

- The position provides requisite insights towards developing the pricing/commercial model for the solutions and win themes for deals.

- Maintain long-term relationships with clients.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Minimum 12+ years of experience in business development or sales in the colocation or IT services industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.

- In-depth knowledge of colocation solutions.
