Brand Head

Role & responsibilities

• Provide the inputs with regard to the annual operating budget, case mix, revenue, with the consolidated product calendar encompassing the product & brand plan aligned to the envisaged business strategy based on the market, consumer and previous trends.
• Analyze trends and emerging habits among target customers to recommend action.
• Define the band positioning among the target consumers and lead the briefing of the agencies (creative, media, digital, etc.) for developing the plan to achieve the brand objectives.
• Own customer and consumer understanding, identifying and harnessing their barriers and triggers to drive intended brand outcomes /key growth/consumer/funnel metrics.
• Shape the brand vision mission and bring it alive effectively internally and to help build the brand as a significant competitive differentiation.
• Ensure the execution of the branding initiatives periodically as per the finalized plan
• Monitor the performance of the branding initiatives / campaigns periodically and recommend necessary course corrections
• Undertaking periodic modifications in the price of the products basis the market analysis, competitor analysis, inflation, product performance and business requirements
• Someone who has managed large marketing budgets and owned a P&L
• Worked with multiple stakeholders
• Even better if they have worked in B2B space along with B2C brand building
• Digital brand building would be good to have but good understanding of digital marketing is critical

Minimum/Relevant Experience

• 10-15 years (Definitely need someone who has spent at least 7-8 years in hard core brand marketing roles, ideally in FMCG)
