Sales Head - Animal Feed

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the sales strategy for the animal feed division, aligning with Poshn's overall goals. Identify and target potential markets, customers, and distribution channels.
• Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by building strong relationships with buyers, distributors, and channel partners. Meet or exceed sales targets and profitability objectives.
• Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for team members.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Provide actionable insights to the product and marketing teams to refine offerings.
• Client Relationships: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts. Act as a point of escalation for client concerns and ensure resolution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with marketing for promotional activities and brand building.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management. Track key metrics and analyze performance to identify areas of improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the animal feed or related agri-commodities sector.
• Strong understanding of the animal feed industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
