Role & responsibilities

1. System Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and operating systems for all organizational devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings across systems.

2. Network Management

• Monitor and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure minimal downtime.

3. IT Security

• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.
• Regularly update antivirus software and ensure compliance with data protection policies.

4. Technical Support

• Provide first-line technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Assist in resolving IT-related queries and ensuring timely resolution of problems.

5. Maintenance and Upgrades

• Conduct routine maintenance of IT equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades to improve efficiency.

6. Data Management

• Ensure data backup procedures are in place and regularly tested.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution to safeguard critical business data.

7. IT Procurement

• Evaluate and recommend IT equipment and software for procurement.
• Coordinate with vendors for purchasing and support services.

8. Project Management

• Assist in IT-related projects such as new system implementations or migrations.
• Manage timelines, resources, and budgets for small to medium-scale IT initiatives.

9. Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, policies, and user manuals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational IT policies.

10. Training and Development
