Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager / Group Head - Advertising Sales to join our team at Radio City India in Mumbai.
This role will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth across FCT (Fixed Commercial Time), non-FCT, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation:
- Maximize revenue through strategic utilization of prime and non-prime time slots targeting corporate clients and agencies.
- Explore and leverage FCT, non-FCT, and digital sales opportunities.
Innovative Solutions:
- Manage and grow business with Delta clients, providing creative and innovative advertising solutions that exceed expectations.
Client Acquisition & Retention:
- Identify, pitch, and secure new corporate clients while maintaining and upgrading relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop tailored presentations and proposals that align with client needs.
Sales Strategy & Reporting:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare and present sales reports including daily call reports, weekly updates, and monthly sales plans.
- Analyze market trends and competition to optimize sales approaches.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Work closely with the creative and collections teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution and timely revenue collections.
Client Servicing:
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and efficient problem resolution.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 13 to 15 years of proven ad sales experience, with a strong focus on the Mumbai market.
- Prior experience in media sales (radio, television, print, or digital) is preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
