Job Description
- Maintain and manage the required books for accounts in the defined systems as per the organizational processes and statutory requirements
- Ensure daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities like reconciliations and cyclical reporting and Balance Sheet
- Maintain and provide all the required accounting data with any analysis as and when required
- Provide all the required details to internal and external auditors as per the defined processes
- Report any discrepancy in accounting to the relevant leaders in case of any discrepancy in financial accounting
- Work with all relevant teams to calculate and deposit the due taxes in time and ensure that the returns (if any) are filed on time
- Work with various consultants and tax experts to plan the taxation strategies where applicable
- Ensure the tax planning is done the most effective way to optimize taxes and ensure as much savings as possible. Manage all tax provision and tax compliance process
- Work towards ensuring all input credits and other tax benefits is claimed in time and accurately
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- In depth Knowledge of Income Tax Assessments, filing Income Tax Returns and Tax Audits.
