Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager / Sr. Manager for Taxation to join our dynamic team. This key role is based in India and requires an individual with comprehensive knowledge of Indian tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax guidance, ensuring compliance, and optimizing tax strategies for our clients.

1) Tax Compliance and Reporting:
Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in Indian tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Oversee and manage all tax-related filings, including income tax, GST, TDS, etc.
Provide support during tax audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
2) Tax Planning and Strategy:
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients..
Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
Advise clients on tax-efficient structures and transactions for their businesses.
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate tax considerations into financial planning.
3) Client Advisory:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients tax-related matters.
Build strong client relationships and provide personalized tax advice.
Offer proactive tax planning recommendations to clients to optimize their financial positions.
Communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
4) Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
Monitor the teams performance and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Conduct training sessions to enhance the teams knowledge and skillset.
5) Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, rules, and regulations in India.
Monitor changes in tax policies and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.
Develop and implement internal processes to enhance tax compliance.
5) Cross-border Taxation:
Collaborate with international tax teams to handle cross-border tax issues
Advise on transfer pricing matters and ensure compliance with international tax treaties.
