Job Description:
About the Role:
- Dow's Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) & Improve & Scale Digital Solutions team drives value creation by enabling and supporting processes and system capabilities essential to our businesses, customers, and employees. We are looking for a Business Process Specialist to join our team in Mumbai.
- In this role, you will collaborate with global and regional peers to deliver optimal solutions for supply chain operations, aligning them with our design principles. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will provide in-depth functional and user expertise for systems, technologies, and processes utilized by Customer Service, Business Planning, Logistics, and Site Logistics.
- Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, delivering training, supporting operational processes, and fostering continuous improvement to enhance strategic solutions and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process & System Expertise:
- Develop a deep understanding of work processes, systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, OM Partners, Oracle Transportation Management, etc.), technologies, applications, data, and metrics.
- Provide insights into resolving issues, functionality explanations, and work process requirements gathering.
- Ensure seamless knowledge transfer and consistency in process application.
2. Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:
- Interface with peer organizations and adjacent process teams for corporate initiatives and projects.
- Support activities such as requirements gathering, evaluation, testing, data migration, and implementation.
- Drive collaboration across ISC and Information Systems organizations.
3. Training & Knowledge Transfer:
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure robust knowledge transfer and mentoring.
- Facilitate coaching and support at all levels of the organization.
4. Continuous Improvement & Monitoring:
- Monitor performance to ensure alignment between promised and delivered value.
- Identify gaps in global capabilities and leverage emerging technologies to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in supply chain, customer service, or improvement roles.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, digital mindset, and collaborative nature.
- Strong project management and process discipline.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in delivering training programs.
- Familiarity with global operations and adaptability to support alternate time zones (North America, EMEAI, LAA, and APAC).
