Job Title: PR Specialist & Corporate Communications Lead
Location: Mumbai
Department: Corporate Communications
Reporting To: Group CMO
Role Overview:
The PR Specialist & Corporate Communications Lead will be responsible for shaping and executing external and internal communication strategies. This role will involve media relations, corporate thought leadership, content development, reputation management, and leadership communication, ensuring a strong and consistent brand narrative across all channels.
Key Responsibilities :
Public Relations & Media Management:
- Develop and execute a PR strategy to enhance market presence in the plastic pipes and B2C segments.
- Develop a robust content pipeline with the new launched, product features and company milestones
- Proactively pitch product stories, and distributor's milestones to the media and ensure there is an active presence in PR in P1 markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and industry influencers.
- Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership articles.
- Monitor media coverage and manage crisis communication effectively.
- Corporate Communications & Branding
- Define and implement corporate messaging in alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee internal and external corporate storytelling, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Manage corporate brand guidelines, positioning, and messaging.
- Collaborate with marketing, ESG, and leadership teams to amplify corporate identity.
- Content Strategy & Digital Communication
- Lead content creation for corporate announcements, executive communications, and social media campaigns.
- Work closely with the digital team to enhance online reputation and engagement.
- Develop speeches, opinion pieces, and presentations for leadership.
Stakeholder & Internal Communication
- Drive employee engagement through structured internal communication programs.
- Develop communication plans for key corporate initiatives and leadership messaging.
- Act as a bridge between leadership and employees, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or a
related field.
- Experience: 12- 15 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or media relations, preferably in manufacturing, infrastructure, or B2C industries.
- Strong media network and expertise in managing PR campaigns.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
