Job Description

Head Marketing

Key responsibilities Description:

Strategy and planning:

- Formulate a robust marketing strategy aligned to organization goals and objectives

- Supervise market research & gain insights into the warehousing market (industry trends, competition, investor preferences) to identify potential investor/customer segments and target markets

- Determine most suitable marketing channels (PR, events, digital, etc.) to reach and engage with target segments aligned with all departments

- Ideate and execute innovative marketing initiatives and explore new media formats and channels while ensuring strategic alignment

- Evaluate cost, reach & potential benefits to create effective channel mix; maximize visibility to attract investors and customers

- Create a marketing roadmap (annual marketing plan including timelines, initiatives, responsibilities and details) and oversee execution

- Ensure strong thought leadership position in industry for organization and senior management

- Develop strategies to address negative publicity or crisis situations effectively, while also highlighting positive achievements and success stories to enhance the organization's reputation

Brand management and communications:

- Develop a strong brand identity and positioning for effective messaging across channels

- Develop brand image to distill key messages and ensure resonation with target investors / customers

- Ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing campaigns, address brand reputation online and offline, and implement strategies to enhance brand visibility and recognition

- Ensure alignment & collaboration with senior management & key internal stakeholders

- Monitor media coverage, online discussions, and public sentiment and proactively address any potential reputational risks.

Marketing budget and effectiveness:

- Develop the marketing budget by assessing the strategic roadmap and allocating resources to different marketing channels and campaigns

- Supervise the team in analyzing the ROI of marketing initiatives and assessing their impact on business goals to make optimized budget allocations

- Guide the team in managing vendor contracts and collaborating with the different internal teams

Campaign management and execution:

- Oversee planning of marketing campaigns and initiatives by defining campaign objectives, target audience, and creatives

- Supervise effective execution across various marketing channels such as PR & media, events, conferences, workshops, etc.

- Spearhead the development of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across channels and platforms to reach and engage with the target audience including the website, social media, email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, and other digital initiatives

- Provide guidance in monitoring the performance of the agencies to ensure alignment to overall objectives and messaging across channels

Stakeholder management:

- Manage relationships with current and potential investors by developing communication strategies for effective engagement

- Liaise with industry associations, organizations and peers to build relationships and enhance the presence in the industry

- Provide strategic leadership to the Marketing team and foster a collaborative, creative and productive environment to support their professional development

- Supervise the coordination of the Marketing team with all departments within the and the Group to gather inputs and insights and align marketing initiatives with the overall objectives of the organization

- Closely collaborate with senior leadership and Group function to align strategies & objectives and gather necessary inputs & feedback.

- Co-ordinate with the leadership team including AVPs, CEO - Fund & CEO - Asset Management, Group Legal, MD / Board to ensure compliance and swift approval of all marketing collaterals

- Stay abreast with the latest developments in the industry and new initiatives / partnerships that can be undertaken
