Procurement Officer

Role

We are hiring a Procurement Officer with 2 years of experience in the construction industry to manage sourcing, vendor negotiations, and procurement operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have experience in purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services, along with strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services.
✅ Select the best suppliers based on reliability, quality, and cost, specifically for construction materials and services.
✅ Monitor inventory levels and determine procurement needs.
✅ Request cost proposals and negotiate contracts.
✅ Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoice issues.
✅ Prepare and process purchase orders for construction-related procurements.
✅ Maintain records of transactions, POs, receipts, and payments.
✅ Schedule and verify purchase deliveries.
✅ Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
✅ Advise internal teams on purchasing terms.
✅ Handle daily procurement operations, including planning and tracking deliveries.
✅ Evaluate supplier performance based on organizational criteria.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2+ years in procurement within the construction industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
