AWS Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

The selected DevOps Engineer should have at least the following experience:

• Infrastructure Management for GIS Applications deploy, configure and manage Esri ArcGIS Enterprise components, including ArcGIS Server, Portal, Data Store and Web Adaptor.
• Design and maintain scalable cloud solutions to support ArcGIS Enterprise and GIS applications leveraging AWS or Google Cloud
• Optimize infrastructure to handle large scale geospatial data processing, visualization and analytics.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate ArcGIS REST APIs and other Esri services into GIS applications.
• Manage updates, patches, and version upgrades for ArcGIS Enterprise to ensure system reliability and security.
• Build and maintain pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing geospatial data for use within ArcGIS Enterprise and other GIS applications.
• Automate transformations of geospatial data formats, ensuring compatibility with ArcGIS Enterprise and PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases.
• Optimize database performance to support queries and operations used by ArcGIS Enterprise

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with relevant AWS Certifications and GIS experience will be preferred
