Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership:A.Lead a team of GIS developers and analysts to deliver high-quality geospatial solutions.B.Provide direction and technical guidance to the team in designing, developing, testing, and deploying ArcGIS-based applications.C.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure business and functional requirements are understood and effectively translated into technical specifications.E.Ensure project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards.Technical Development & Solution Delivery:F.Oversee the development and implementation of ESRI-based applications, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS City Engine, ArcGIS Urban, and ArcGIS Online.G.Work on designing custom applications and tools using ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise for various industries and organizations.H.Support geospatial analysis and data visualization efforts using advanced scripting (Python, JavaScript) and API development to automate spatial workflows.I.Lead system integration efforts, ensuring smooth interfacing of geospatial systems with enterprise systems through REST/SOAP APIs.Testing and Quality Assurance:A Manage end-to-end testing efforts, ensuring that test plans and scripts for functional, regression, and system integration testing are comprehensive and adhered to.B Implement best practices for system integration and performance testing across various ArcGIS platforms.Team Management:A Mentor junior team member, conduct performance evaluations, and contribute to staff training and development.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, product management, and QA teams, to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.B Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.C Client Engagement & Solution Customization:D Engage with clients to understand their geospatial requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.E Assist in the deployment of ArcGIS solutions within the client's environment, providing training, documentation, and post-deployment support.
Technical Experience:ESRI Product Suite:A. Extensive experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Urban, ArcGIS City Engine, ArcGIS Dashboard, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.B. Familiarity with ArcGIS GeoEvent Server, ArcGIS Indoor, and ArcGIS Image Server.Programming and Scripting:A. Proficiency in Python for automating spatial data workflows and spatial analysis.B. Hands-on experience in web and API development using JavaScript, including integration with ArcGIS REST services.GIS Architecture & System Integration:A. Strong understanding of ESRI security layers, ArcGIS server architecture, deployment models, and service-oriented architecture.B. Experience with spatial ETL tools and workflows.C. Proven track record in implementing solutions using REST and SOAP APIs.Agile Development:A. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality geospatial solutions.B. Ability to handle multiple projects with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery efficiency.C. Knowledge of React JS requiredProfessional Experience:A. Proven ability to lead and mentor teams of GIS developers and analysts, ensuring their professional growth and technical excellence.B. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.C. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to quickly understand issues and provide solutions.D. Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to develop innovative solutions.
Educational Qualification and/or Certifications:A. Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech) or Master's degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or a related field.B. Minimum of 16 years of formal education.
Additional Information:A.10 -12 years of experience in the GIS domain, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a team lead or managerial role. B. Minimum of 16 years of formal education.
